คณะรัฐศาสตร์และรัฐประศาสนศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ เดินหน้าขับเคลื่อนโครงการบริการวิชาการเพื่อพัฒนาชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน ผ่านการสร้างการมีส่วนร่วม การอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรม และการต่อยอดทุนท้องถิ่น ดำเนินโครงการโดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ปฐมาวดี จงรักษ์ อาจารย์ประจำสำนักวิชารัฐประศาสนศาสตร์

• โครงการ “ขยะบุญเพื่อปรับปรุงสุสานบ้านอุโมงค์”

จัดกิจกรรมประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการเพื่อให้ความรู้ด้านการคัดแยกขยะ พร้อมจัดตั้งคณะกรรมการดำเนินงาน เพื่อสร้างกลไกการจัดการขยะโดยชุมชน และพัฒนาพื้นที่สาธารณะให้เกิดประโยชน์ร่วมกัน ณ ชุมชนอุโมงค์ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

• โครงการ “เสน่ห์บ้านโฮ่ง: พลิกฟื้นรสชาติแห่งตำนาน สืบสานวัฒนธรรม”

โครงการที่นำอัตลักษณ์อาหารพื้นถิ่นและสมุนไพรชุมชนมาต่อยอดสู่ทุนวัฒนธรรมและเศรษฐกิจสร้างสรรค์ โดยมีการสำรวจและจัดทำฐานข้อมูล “เมนูที่หายไป” ของอำเภอบ้านโฮ่ง จังหวัดลำพูน เพื่ออนุรักษ์ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น และสร้างโอกาสในการพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวและเศรษฐกิจชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน

เพราะการพัฒนาชุมชนที่ยั่งยืน เริ่มต้นจากการเห็นคุณค่าในทรัพยากร วัฒนธรรม และพลังของคนในพื้นที่

The Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University, continues to drive academic service projects for sustainable community development through public participation, cultural preservation, and the enhancement of local capital.
The projects are led by Associate Professor Dr. Patamawadee Jongruck, Lecturer at the School of Public Administration.
“Merit Waste for Ban Umong Cemetery Improvement” Project
A workshop was organized to provide knowledge on waste separation and establish a community working committee, aiming to strengthen community-based waste management and improve shared public spaces in the Umong community, Chiang Mai.
“The Charm of Ban Hong: Reviving Legendary Flavors, Preserving Cultural Heritage” Project
This project builds upon local food identity and traditional herbal wisdom to promote cultural capital and the creative economy. Activities included surveying and developing a database of “lost menus” from Ban Hong District, Lamphun Province, in order to preserve local wisdom while creating opportunities for sustainable tourism and community economic development.
Sustainable community development begins with recognizing the value of local resources, cultural heritage, and the power of people within the community.
