การพัฒนาวัคซีนน้องหมูในประเทศไทย

       หากยังจำกันได้ เมื่อช่วงต้นปีที่ผ่านมามีการแพร่กระจายของเชื้อโรคอหิวาต์แอฟริกาในสุกร (ASF) ในหลายพื้นที่ของประเทศไทยจนทุกคนต่างตกใจไปตาม ๆ กัน แต่นอกจากโรค ASF แล้วยังมีโรคอีกหลายชนิดที่ติดต่อได้ในหมู เช่นโรค PRRS วันนี้เราจึงจะพามาพบกับ รองศาสตราจารย์ นายสัตวแพย์ ดร. ณัฐวุฒิ สถิตเมธี  คณะสัตวแพทย์ศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ นักวิทยาศาสตร์คนเก่งอีกท่านที่อยู่เบื้องหลังการพัฒนาวัคซีนร่วมกับสถาบันที่อังกฤษในการป้องกันให้น้องหมูนั้นปลอดโรคและแข็งแรง

       Many of you may remember the African Swine Fever outbreak that occurred in Thailand earlier this year and triggered alarm, but do you also know that there are other illnesses that could cause a pandemic in pigs, for example PRRS disease? We are pleased to bring Assoc. Prof. Nattawooti Sthitmatee from Chiang Mai University to you today. To help develop vaccines for swine in Thailand, he is working with British institutions under the support of British Newton Fund.
The British Embassy is presenting these success stories of Thai researchers from Chiang Mai University with funding from the British Newton Fund in honour of the Thai National Science Day. These initiatives aid in and contribute to the scientific development in Thailand.
