Using Innovation to Drive Organizational development, CMU Honored with Chief Innovation Officer Award

CMU received the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) Award from the National Innovation Agency (NIA), which is given to sectors that play an active role in driving innovation or take a very large responsibility in implementing innovation-related tasks within an organization that prides itself on making significant contributions in promoting and advancing Thailand as a ‘nation of innovation’.
On July 13, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyanuparb Anantana, The Vice President of CMU, the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) pin and certificate of honour from Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana, the National Innovation Agency (NIA) Director, at Park Hyatt Bangkok’s Grand Ballroom.
CMU as ‘A Leading University Committed to Social Responsibility for Sustainable Development through Innovation’ strives to ever improve; and the Phase 13 of our Educational Development Plan (2023 - 2027) has been designed to the national strategic targets and the needs of society, both on the local and national scales through interdisciplinary integration.
At the same time, in establishing itself as a ‘university of innovation’, CMU has shifted the paradigm in driving the university’s operation by incorporating creativity, technology and innovation into problem-solving and operational improvement, in particular, educational innovation to accommodate the ever-changing educational context and research that can be translated into innovation creating significant positive impacts on society, and the economy, as well as the community.
