ICDI CMU Hosts Orientation for New Graduate Students for Academic Year 2025

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, organized an orientation for new graduate students for the academic year 2025. The event was held at the ICDI building and online via Zoom Application, with the aim of welcoming new students and preparing them for their academic journey.
The oreintation started with a welcome speech delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Somchai Sriyab, Associate Dean, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nopasit Chakpitak, Chair of the Graduate Program. The event continued with a CMU orientation video presentation, followed by a visa information session specifically for international graduate students. Faculty and supporting staff were also introduced, and students had the opportunity to meet with their academic advisors. Additionally, students were divided into Master's and Doctoral groups to foster familiarity and understanding of their respective programs.
The orientation was attended by graduate students, faculty members and supporting staff, both onsite and online by a total of 39 participants.
ICDI hopes this orientation will help new students gain confidence and be well-prepared for a successful graduate-level academic experience.
