CAMT Signs Tripartite Collaboration to Establish Mechanisms Toward International Standards in the International Program: LI-MMIT Talented AP Program 4+1

On September 24, 2025, at the College of Arts, Media and Technology, Chiang Mai University,
Asst. Prof. Dr. Worawit Janchai Dean of the College of Arts, Media and Technology, signed a tripartite memorandum of collaboration with the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University, represented by Asst. Prof. Sakorn Ruanklai, Director of the Language Institute. The signing was also joined by Mr. Karim Hussain, Manager and Head of International Affairs of the Language Institute, and Miss Liu Mingfen, Manager of SL Golden International Co., Ltd., along with Ms. Priyaporn Supamongkol, Head of Academic Affairs, and Ms. Pinthikan Sottipankul, Project Coordinator.
The “LI-MMIT Talented AP Program 4+1” is designed to cultivate students, especially those in international programs, with a global perspective by integrating resources and establishing a high-quality educational framework that seamlessly supports further studies at the graduate level.
This special program spans five years. Students will begin with English language and foundation courses before entering the Bachelor of Modern Management and Information Technology (International Program) for four years. They will then have the opportunity to continue seamlessly into a one-year Master’s program in Management and related fields at Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom.
The project will start recruiting high-potential students through a rigorous selection process based on program standards and quality assessments, in line with Chiang Mai University’s admission channels. The first cohort is expected to commence in the academic year 2026.
This tripartite collaboration represents a significant step in advancing the quality of education and enhancing internationalization, with strong support from the Language Institute in strengthening communication skills and preparing students comprehensively before official enrollment.
Currently, the international programs at the College of Arts, Media and Technology attract a large number of international students, ranking among the top five at Chiang Mai University. This achievement reflects the quality and reputation of the College and the University at large. In the QS World University Rankings 2025, Chiang Mai University is ranked among the top 300 in Asia, third in Thailand, and recognized as the leading public higher education institution in Northern Thailand
