Staff

In addition to the 7,000 students entering and graduating each year, we have more than 14,000 personnel, consisting of 2,274 academic staff and 11,810 staff, as of January 14, 2019. Our university is divided into many departments. The academic department consists of 21 faculties, 3 colleges, 1 graduate school, 3 research institutes, and 9 internal academic departments. We have 6 other departments and 3 offices, the Internal Audit Office, the University Council Office, and the Chiang Mai University Office. Our team performs their duties to the fullest of their ability by adhering to the benefit of the organization with the aim to create valuable work according to the mission of our university: to be the University of Excellence, while also giving back to society.

Inter-library loan service

1. Full electronic academic document sourcing service unavailable in Chiang Mai University from a network of libraries in foreign countries worldwide using the OCLC browsing platform. You can request to get the documents at Single Search: WorldCat on the library website. CMU Library will support expenses for all students, teachers, researchers, and staff of Chiang Mai University.
The Terms of service are as follows;
1) Providing services only for documents of the type Article/Chapter in unlimited electronic files.
2) Able to borrow books from a library cooperating in Thailand free of charge is the Thammasat University Library.
3) It does not cover borrowing Print Book/e-Book from overseas libraries. (charges)

2. Interlibrary Loan Service of higher education institutions in Thailand or (ILL).

There is a service for the case that there is no required book or journal in the Chiang Mai University Library; who would to pleased for the library to borrow or copy documents from other libraries in Thailand by postal delivery. Alternatively, members can travel to borrow - return by themselves from the libraries in the cooperation network. The information resources provided include books, textbooks, research papers, theses, and articles in journals or books. The user must pay for the service according to the conditions of each institution. Contact to request service at the borrowing-return counter, 1st floor.

HISTORY

Animal Health Service Center is an autonomous organization under the management of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University. It was approved by Chiang Mai University Council to be established in accordance with Chiang Mai University regulations on 16 November 1999 with independent from bureaucratic system and operate flexibly. “Animal Health Service Center” was changed to “Chiang Mai University Animal Hospital-CMUAH” in 2020. CMUAH comprises of Small Animal Hospital, Large Animal Hospital, Mae On Animal Hospital and Veterinary Diagnostic and Laboratory Center.
