The event was held in Shenzhen, People’s Republic of China, from 2–5 June 2026.

As part of the Huawei Most Valuable Instructor (MVI) Forum 2026, award-winning educators from around the world shared their teaching experiences, best practices, and innovative initiatives in ICT education through the session “Best Practices & Initiatives from MVIs Worldwide.” The forum also featured a panel discussion entitled “Future-Ready Major-Specific Courses Through Experimental Learning Models,” which explored approaches to designing industry-relevant curricula, enhancing experiential learning, and preparing students with the skills required for the rapidly evolving digital economy.

The Teaching Competition – Industry-Education Collaboration Track focuses on evaluating educators’ capabilities in developing instructional content through the application of Huawei technologies and products, as well as the integration of Huawei ICT Academy online courses into higher education curricula. The evaluation considers curriculum development, the promotion of hands-on learning experiences, and the enhancement of students’ abilities to apply digital technologies in solving real-world problems and developing innovative solutions that address the needs of society and industry.

This approach is closely aligned with the educational vision of the International College of Digital Innovation, which emphasizes the development of both digital technology competencies and entrepreneurial skills. Through project-based learning and innovation-driven activities, students are encouraged to transform technological knowledge into practical solutions, preparing them to become future digital entrepreneurs and startup innovators capable of creating value and addressing real-world challenges through digital technologies. Insights gained through engagement with leading global technology organizations and international academic networks further support ICDI’s commitment to continuously enhancing its curriculum and learning experiences, ensuring that graduates are well prepared for the evolving demands of the digital economy.
