MIdS CMU, in Collaboration with National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Organizes Training on Standards and Ethics in Human Research

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Standards and Ethics in Human Research and the Operations of Institutional Human Research Ethics Committees.”
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, with welcome remarks delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Jirakrit Leelarungrayub, Assistant Dean. The workshop featured expert speakers including Associate Professor Dr. Wanida Phuakul, Associate Professor Dr. Nat Khunrangsisombun, Dr. Phongsri Wesarat, and Ms. Namon Worapreeda, who conducted the lectures and practical sessions for members of the Institutional Human Research Ethics Committee.
The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of ethical principles in human research and the operations of institutional human research ethics committees.
The workshop was held during 15–16 December 2025 at Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University.
