CMU Partners with Tsinghua University to Enhance Academic Collaboration

On 25 February 2569 (2026), Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University, welcomed Professor Guo Yong, Vice Chancellor of Tsinghua University, People’s Republic of China, and his 12-member delegation during their visit to formally sign an academic collaboration agreement and discuss future areas of cooperation between the two institutions. The meeting and signing ceremony took place at the Phraya Srivisanvacha Meeting Room. Assistant Professor Dr. Tanyanupharb Anantana, Vice President, attended as a witness, together with deans and representatives from various faculties and institutes, including the Faculties of Science, Mass Communication, Political Science and Public Administration, Medicine, Dentistry, and Engineering, as well as the College of Arts, Media and Technology (CAMT), the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), and the Language Institute.
