ICDI-CMU Explores Collaboration Opportunities in Low-Altitude Economy and Digital Aviation with Bao’an Low-Altitude Economic Industry Association

The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University (ICDI-CMU), together with representatives from Chiang Mai University and Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Ltd. (AEROTHAI), visited the Bao'an Low-Altitude Economic Industry Association in Shenzhen, China, to exchange knowledge and explore collaboration opportunities in the rapidly growing fields of low-altitude economy and digital aviation.

Discussions focused on China's advancements in drone technologies, digital airspace management, and emerging aviation ecosystems, as well as their potential applications in Thailand and the ASEAN region.

Both parties explored opportunities for collaboration in curriculum development, professional training, student internships, joint research, and international exchange programs. The discussions highlighted the growing importance of technologies such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), Artificial Intelligence (AI), satellite communications, and next-generation digital infrastructure.

The visit reflects ICDI-CMU's commitment to expanding international partnerships and advancing research, innovation, and workforce development to support the future growth of the aviation and low-altitude economy sectors.
