The Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, congratulates the Food Innovation and Packaging Center (FIN) for winning three international awards at the Seoul International Invention Fair 2025 (SIIF 2025), Republic of Korea.

Representing Chiang Mai University, the team from the Food Innovation and Packaging Center (FIN), Faculty of Agro-Industry, showcased its research innovation entitled:
“Next Day: A Natural Extract–Derived Dietary Supplement for Alleviating Alcohol-Related Toxicity.”
The invention earned three prestigious international awards, including:
Special Award from the Taiwan Invention Association (TIA)
Special Award from the Swiss–Korean Association ASAMCO
NRCT Special Award from the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT)
Research Team:
Assoc. Prof. Dr.Yuthana Phimolsiripol (Dean, Faculty of Agro-Industry), Dr.Pinpanit Boonchuay, Ms.Wunnipa Sompud, and Ms.Chonthicha Uthaisripadungkul
The National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, led Thai researchers and inventors to participate in the 2025 Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF 2025), held from 3–6 December 2025 at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, Seoul, Republic of Korea. The event showcased and evaluated more than 1,000 inventions from 40 countries worldwide.
This achievement reflects the excellence and capability of Thai researchers in developing natural extract–based innovations with strong commercial potential. It also marks another proud milestone for Thailand in elevating the nation’s reputation for research and innovation on the global stage.
