2023 APAHL Forum Facilitates Academic Exchange Program for Students and Faculty Across the Asia-Pacific Region

Assistant Professor Piyawan Sawasdisingha, Assistant Dean responsible for Student Development and Alumni Relations together with Lecturer Sirinard Deechairam, Surgical Nursing Department and Nursing students participated to The Asia-Pacific Alliance of Health Leaders Forum (APAHL) for 2023 is set to take place from November 1st to 4th, 2023, at The University of Hong Kong in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

The forum's theme for this year is "Healthy Ageing in Action through Healthcare Education, Practice, and Research," which aims to provide a platform for scholars and educators from various academic institutions in the Asia-Pacific region to exchange knowledge and expertise. The conference endeavors to facilitate collaboration and enhance healthcare practices related to elderly care within the region.

The APAHL forum is an annual event that seeks to promote academic exchange programs among different institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. The forum is open to students and faculty members interested in sharing their research findings, discussing current challenges and opportunities in the healthcare industry, and exploring potential collaborations.

The event will feature keynote speeches from leading healthcare industry experts, panel discussions, and workshops covering a broad range of healthcare education, practice, and research topics. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other participants, share their experiences, and learn from one another.

Universities are participating: The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Yamaguchi University, Japan, Mahidol University, Thailand and International Medical University, Malaysia.
