CMU Signs MOU with Rubber Authority of Thailand on Rubber Technology Development

On 28 May 2026, at the Convention Hall at Khum Phucome Hotel, Professor of Practice Dr. Charin Techapun, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, on behalf of the CMU President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Rubber Authority of Thailand. Also present at the signing were Mr. Kosol Boonkong, Acting Governor of RAOT, Assistant Professor Dr. Daruni Naphrom, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Mr. Aisun Saenkham, Director of RAOT’s Northern Region Office. The partnership aims to promote the transfer of knowledge, technology, and innovation in rubber cultivation and related practices, as well as research on enhancing the adaptation of rubber production to climate change.
