The International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, has organized an academic seminar for guidance teachers on the topic "Metaverse in Education: Opportunities and Challenges" on September 14, 2022, at the ICDI building and also via electronic media, which was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, who presided over the welcome speech and opened the seminar.
This seminar aims to update the knowledge of technology and the benefits of Metaverse in enhancing the learning experience in a realistic way for school administrators. More than 65 educational staff, students, and interested parties participated.
The seminar was honored by Lecturer Dr. Anukul Tamprasirt, Lecturer of ICDI and Technology Specialist, who gave a lecture on the topic "Metaverse in Education: Opportunities and Challenges" and Ajarn Dr. Chakkrapong Kuensaen gave information on the curriculum of the courses available at ICDI, which focused on entrepreneurship and start-up projects. The lectures on admission information and certificate courses which can be transferred to GE or Free Elective were also given by Ms. Sureeporn Thidsadeeyrak of the Educational Services Unit.
