MIdS CMU Partners with Chiang Mai University Academic Units through MOAs to Jointly Manage Academic Programs

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Friday, 16 January 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, held a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony with academic units involved in the joint management of academic programs.
The event was led by Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, who delivered welcome remarks.
The objective of the ceremony was to establish a clear framework for the management of Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs under MIdS CMU, in alignment with the policies and strategic directions of Chiang Mai University. The collaboration emphasizes knowledge integration, inter-faculty cooperation, and shared resource utilization to enhance program quality and ensure responsiveness to current labor market demands and societal needs.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of executives and faculty members from co-teaching faculties and academic units involved in program management, who attended as witnesses to the MOA signing. The event took place at Room 2-202, Building 2, MIdS CMU.

MOA Signing Ceremony
A total of eight Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs) were signed between the College of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies (MIdS) and collaborating academic units, as follows:
MOA on the Management of the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy Programs in Mental Health (International Program)
between the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Education, and MIdS.
MOA on the Management of the Master of Science Program in Sports Science
between the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Institute, College of Art, Media and Technology, and MIdS.
MOA on the Management of the Master of Science Program in Forensic Science
between the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and MIdS.
