On 4 July 2026, faculty members, staff, and MBA students from the MBA Program, Faculty of Business Administration, Chiang Mai University, participated in a business site visit to Ornsirin Holding Public Company Limited as part of the Managing for Business Success course. The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the operations, strategic direction, and business practices of one of Northern Thailand's leading real estate developers.

The program began with an executive presentation by Mr. Parawich Charoonrojnaayuthya, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who shared Ornsirin's business overview, strategic direction toward 2029, five-year corporate strategy, project portfolio, and recent business performance. His presentation offered students a comprehensive understanding of how a publicly listed company formulates strategy, drives sustainable growth, and responds to market opportunities.

The participants then visited Belief Wongwaen–Sankampaeng, where Mr. Sarawut Panlertrapee, Director of Project Development, guided the group through the model homes and explained the project's concept, product development process, and the company's approach to creating value for different customer segments.

In the afternoon, the MBA group explored Ornsirin's Backyard Community Mall, where Ms. Kritsana Suttaboonkan, Director of Retail Business, introduced the company's retail business model. Students learned how the business is managed from upstream to downstream, including tenant management, marketing strategies, leasing, and the development of a vibrant community retail ecosystem.

The visit concluded with an engaging Wrap-up and Q&A session led by Mr. Predikorn Buranupakorn, Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He shared his vision for the company's future, discussed strategic challenges and opportunities in the real estate industry, and encouraged students to think critically about long-term business growth and innovation.

This business visit marks the beginning of the MBA students' strategic consulting case study. Drawing upon the knowledge and insights gained during the visit, students will work collaboratively to develop a five-year strategic plan for Ornsirin as part of their coursework. The project enables students to apply strategic management concepts and analytical tools to a real business, bridging academic learning with practical business challenges.

The MBA Program would like to express its sincere appreciation to Ornsirin Holding Public Company Limited for warmly welcoming our faculty, staff, and students, and for generously sharing valuable business knowledge and executive insights. We are especially grateful for the opportunity to learn directly from an industry leader and to engage with the company's management team throughout the visit.
