ECON CMU HR Unit Joins X-Change Study Visit to Strengthen People Development and Future-Ready HR Practices

On 7 September 2026, from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., the Human Resources Unit of the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Kansinee Guntawongwan, Ph.D., Deputy Dean, together with Faculty staff, took part in a study visit and knowledge exchange at the Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University under the X-Change: Learning from Partners for Future Faculty Transformation Project, Fiscal Year 2026.

The visit focused on exchanging knowledge and good practices in key areas of human resource development, including competency development and future skills for staff, with the aim of preparing personnel to respond effectively to changing workplace demands.

Participants also exchanged perspectives on the design and development of human resource management systems in line with the EdPEx framework, Category 5, as well as approaches to strengthening an organisational learning culture and continuous staff development through Learning Culture and Knowledge Management.

The activity provided an opportunity to learn from a partner faculty and explore practices that can be adapted to enhance ECON CMU’s human resource management and development systems, supporting a more agile and future-ready organisation.
