Faculty of Fine Arts
Assoc. Prof. Khontaporn Meerman is a faculty member in the Design Program, Department of Thai Art, Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University. With a degree in Architecture from Chulalongkorn University and an MFA in Ceramics and Ceramic Sculpture from Rochester Institute of Technology (under a Thai Government scholarship), she specializes in ceramics and contemporary craft design.

Since 1995, she has contributed to teaching, research, and academic leadership, with a strong focus on integrating local wisdom into modern design. Her long-term work with the ceramic community of Muang Kung reflects her commitment to sustainable development and the creative revitalization of Lanna heritage.
