Faculty of Economics Joins the Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University

On Thursday, 18 June 2026, the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, led by Saowaluk Duangin, Ph.D., Assistant Dean, together with the Faculty Secretary, attended the 2026 Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University at the Thanee Phaholyothin Conference Room, Building 1, Faculty of Social Sciences.

The ceremony included a Buddhist merit-making service to bring prosperity and good fortune while boosting the morale of academic staff, professional staff, and students. The event was attended by university executives, faculty members, staff, and representatives from various faculties and units across Chiang Mai University.

The anniversary celebration commemorated the Faculty of Social Sciences' distinguished history, achievements, and long-standing contributions to education, research, and community engagement. It also reaffirmed the Faculty's commitment to academic excellence, internationalisation, and sustainable development.

The participation of the Faculty of Economics reflects the strong collegial relationship among faculties within Chiang Mai University and reinforces the University's shared commitment to advancing education, research, and societal development through collaborative partnerships.
