MIdS CMU Welcomes Delegation from The University of Texas at Austin, USA

On Monday, 11 May 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Associate Professor
Wantida Chaiyana, Ph.D., Vice Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, joined in welcoming faculty members and students from The University of Texas at Austin at the Phraya Sri Visaravaja Room, University Office, Chiang Mai University.

The welcoming remarks were delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Worakanya Buranaphatthana, D.D.S., Ph.D., Assistant to the President of Chiang Mai University. Faculty administrators and representatives from various faculties and departments of CMU also joined in extending greetings to the delegation from The University of Texas at Austin.

The visit aimed to strengthen academic relations and exchange ideas on international education and innovation. Activities included a university introduction session, student exchange and learning activities, and a campus tour of Chiang Mai University. The delegation is participating in the “UT Austin – CMU Maymester” program under the theme “Global Health Technology Innovation Program” at Chiang Mai University from 8 May to 2 June 2026.
