CMU ranked No. 3rd nationally in QS World University Rankings 2023

QS, or Quacquarelli Symonds, is an internationally recognised university ranking organisation, and they have announced the 2023 edition of its QS World University Rankings on June 8, 2022. This year 1,422 institutions worldwide were ranked and 10 Thai universities made it into the rankings.
Among the Thai universities, Chulalongkorn University clinched the top spot (224th worldwide), followed by Mahidol University (256th worldwide) and CMU (ranked in the 601st -650th range).


In Academic Reputation, which is the indicator with the highest weight, CMU moved up six places to 264th worldwide and it is in this area that the university has shown continuous improvement over the years.


The QS World University Rankings are calculated using six areas of indicators: Academic Reputation (40%), Employer Reputation (10%), Faculty/Student Ratio (20%), Citations per Faculty (20%), International Faculty (5%) and International Student (5%).
