ICDI in Collaboration with the Faculty of Mass Communication, CMU, Organizes Storytelling Workshop to Enhance Communication Skills and Media Design of Support Staff

On 17 March 2026, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Communication Innovation Center, Faculty of Mass Communication, Chiang Mai University, organized a hands-on training workshop titled “Storytelling: Crafting Compelling Narratives and Engaging Media” at the Faculty of Mass Communication, Chiang Mai University.

The program was conducted in a combined lecture and practical workshop format, aiming to enhance the communication skills of support staff in alignment with the demands of the digital era.

On this occasion, the workshop was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Terapatt Vannaruemol, a specialist in creative communication, along with a team of expert trainers from the Communication Innovation Center. They delivered comprehensive knowledge and closely guided participants through practical exercises. Participants gained insights into key concepts, including audience analysis (5W1H), systematic content structuring (3P), presentation media design, and basic motion graphic creation, alongside the use of digital tools for media design and layout to ensure engaging and audience-appropriate presentations.

The workshop aimed to strengthen the communication competencies of support staff and enhance their ability to effectively present information in real work contexts. Through participation, staff members were able to apply the knowledge gained to communicate information more clearly, concisely, and appropriately for target audiences, thereby improving internal communication and operational efficiency in a tangible way.

This initiative reflects ICDI’s strong commitment to developing personnel with future skills and a digital mindset through experiential learning, with the goal of enhancing overall work performance and strengthening the organization’s communication capabilities.
