Mental Health Program, MIdS CMU, Organizes the 4th Mental Health Research Conference
.
On March 26–27, 2025, the Mental Health Program, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, hosted the 4th Mental Health Research Conference and the 5th Network of Education and Training in Mental Health (nET-MH 2025). The event was officially opened by Associate Professor Apichat Sopadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University. In addition, Professor Professor Nahathai Wongpakaran, Chair of the Mental Health Program and Chair of the MHRC2025 Organizing Committee, warmly welcomed participants at Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai.
.
The conference aimed to support students from the Master of Science in Mental Health (International Program), Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, by providing a platform to present their research at an international forum. It also facilitated academic and research exchanges in the field of mental health and fostered collaboration among academics, researchers, and mental health professionals both locally and internationally.
.
During the nET-MH Conference, the program continued to strengthen its academic and research network with educational institutions and mental health experts through the Network on Education and Training in Mental Health (nET-MH). This network includes distinguished experts from Germany, Taiwan, Indonesia, Cambodia, the United States, Austria, and Thailand, with key involvement from the Department of Mental Health and Chiang Mai University. Since its inception in 2017, the nET-MH network has held annual conferences to set strategic directions for academic and research collaboration. These efforts have resulted in the exchange of speakers, scholars, and instructors, as well as joint research publications, thereby promoting Global Partnerships under the strategic mission of the college. This ongoing collaboration continues to enhance the quality of academic and research development.
