Seoul National University's representatives visited Chiang Mai University to strengthen academic ties.

Assoc.Prof.Dr.Thongchai Fongsamootr, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering warmly welcomed Prof.Dr.Woojae Seong from Seoul National University, South Korea, for the discussion on pursuing and extending academic collaboration between the two esteemed institutions. on 12 February 2024 at 01.00 PM. The reception took place in the Tiyaphorn Room, 6th floor of the 30th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University.

Prof.Dr.Woojae Seong, who previously undertook a sabbatical at the Department of Mechanical Engineering from 30 November to 15 December 2023, revisited the Faculty with the aim of extending and deepening the collaboration between Seoul National University and Chiang Mai University.

The meeting focused on exploring new avenues for joint academic endeavors, sharing insights and building upon the successes of past collaborative initiatives. Both universities expressed a strong commitment to fostering increased cooperation, facilitating joint research projects and promoting exchanges among students and faculty.

This visit signifies the dedication of both institutions to maintaining strong ties and creating a global academic network that fosters excellence. The Faculty of Engineering at Chiang Mai University looks forward to continued collaboration with Seoul National University for mutual academic growth and success.
