The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean, together with Deputy Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Manad Khamkong and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somchai Sriyab, attended the 13th Conference of the IASC-ARS held from 4–6 December 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The participation aimed to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaborations in applied statistics, advanced data analytics, big-data modeling, and AI-driven research that supports evidence-based policymaking. A key highlight of the conference was the handover ceremony for the 14th IASC-ARS, for which Chiang Mai University—through ICDI and the Faculty of Science—has been entrusted as the official host in 2026.

Being selected as next year’s host affirms CMU’s capacity as a regional hub for digital innovation and research. Participation in this year’s conference provides a valuable opportunity to learn from the current host and expand international networks, ensuring comprehensive preparation for IASC-ARS 2026.
