Chiang Mai University Library offers 24-hour reading areas during the final exam period of the first semester of 2023, from October 7th to October 30th, 2023. The service details are as follows:

1.Reading Areas
        -Located on floors 1 and 2 of Building 1, Chiang Mai University Library.

2.Book Borrowing and Returning Services

       2.1 Borrowing and returning books after 9:00 PM will not be attended by staff. To borrow books, users can use the Self-Check machine or CMU Mobile.

        2.2 Electronic devices can be borrowed before 9:00 PM.

3.Food, Snack, and Beverage Area

       -The library has arranged for a food truck to provide food, snacks, and beverages for library users in front of the library building, and there is a designated dining area on the wooden deck starting from 5:00 PM onwards.

4.User Groups

       4.1 Chiang Mai University staff and students can enter using CMU Mobile or a registered university ID card.

       4.2 Library members with membership categories A, B, C, or D can access the library by scanning their membership card.

       4.3 General public users can access the library for a 20 THB fee but will not be able to use services after 9:00 PM.

5.Security Measures

        The entry and exit of the library building are monitored by fingerprint scanning to record and verify individuals who enter and leave the library 24 hours a day. Security staff are on duty around the clock to ensure safety.
