The Faculty of Architecture, Chiang Mai University Welcomes the Chiang Mai University Demonstration School on a "Luk Chang Tour"
2 September 2025
Faculty of Architecture
On August 28, 2025, the Faculty of Architecture at Chiang Mai University (CMU) welcomed a delegation from the Chiang Mai University Demonstration School as part of the "Luk Chang Tour" project, organized by the school's Guidance and Counseling Center. The event was overseen by Ajarn Thitima Intawong.
The visiting students were received by Assistant Professor Dr. Phandin Unchanam, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture; Assistant Professor Dr. Damnoen Tejammai, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs; Assistant Professor Kan Khamkaew, Head of the Architectural Research and Academic Services Center; and Ajarn Piyachon Unchanam.
The visit was divided into two main parts. The first part featured a comprehensive introduction to the faculty, including its academic programs, facilities, and guidance on creating a portfolio. Assistant Professor Dr. Phandin Unchanam, an alumnus of the Demonstration School, and Assistant Professor Dr. Damnoen Tejammai took turns presenting to the students.
The second part of the tour involved visiting various design studios and laboratories for different academic programs. The visit concluded at the Creative Lanna Innovation Center (CLIC), where students were inspired by designs made from bamboo and other types of wood. This provided a creative and practical look into the world of architectural design.
