Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University Strengthens Academic and Research Collaboration with Otemae University, Japan

Professor Kyoko Shimazawa, Professor at the Faculty of Global Nursing and Director of the Institute of Global Nursing, Otemae University, Japan, is visiting the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, from 10 June to 15 August 2026. The visit aims to strengthen research collaboration on Reproductive Health in Southeast Asia in partnership with Assistant Professor Dr.Preeyakamon Krikitrat, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Nursing. During the visit, Professor Shimazawa will also engage in academic exchange activities focusing on midwifery education, as well as related academic and clinical practices, fostering mutual learning and strengthening international collaboration between the two institutions.
