ICDI Representatives Pay New Year Courtesy Visit to the Consul-General of Japan in Chiang Mai

On Monday, January 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of ICDI, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. HARADA Masaru, Consul-General of Japan in Chiang Mai, and Mr. SUGIKI Takahiro, Vice Consul, at the Consulate-General of Japan.

The visit was organized on the occasion of the New Year 2026 to extend New Year greetings and to reaffirm the long-standing friendly relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and Japan. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening academic and cultural cooperation, as well as enhancing the existing close collaboration between the Consulate-General of Japan and Chiang Mai University. The courtesy visit reflected the commitment of both institutions to further promote international collaboration and mutual understanding in the years to come.
