MIdS CMU Partners with Five Leading Industrial Companies to Advance Carbon Business Networking

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Monday, 26 January 2026, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, held a signing ceremony for Academic Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) between Chiang Mai University and five leading industrial companies. The ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol, M.D., Ph.D., President of Chiang Mai University, who delivered the welcome remarks. Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of the College of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary Studies, presented the objectives of the collaboration.
The event was attended by CMU Vice Presidents, MIdS CMU executives, and executives and representatives from all five partner companies, who jointly witnessed the MOU signing ceremony. The ceremony took place at Tawan Kangwanpong Conference Room, 4th Floor, Strategy Building, Chiang Mai University Office.
The collaboration aims to jointly develop research, promote training programs, and build cooperative networks among the business sector, government agencies, and communities. The partnership focuses on sustainable development to address climate change, technology transfer, and innovation in Green & Climate Technology, as well as promoting and supporting human resource development between the institutions to foster shared learning within the organizations and their networks.
The Academic MOUs signed between Chiang Mai University and the industrial sector comprise five agreements, as follows:
