Faculty of Agro-Industry Students Win Three Awards at the International Business Idea Competition 2025

Faculty of Agro-Industry
The Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, proudly congratulates our students on winning three awards at the International Business Idea Competition 2025, organized by the Atma Jaya Business Incubator, Republic of Indonesia.
This year’s competition featured finalists from leading universities across the region, including Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, Kasetsart University, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), and Chiang Mai University, reflecting the diversity of innovative ideas and the true international standard of the event.
First Runner-up Award
Awarded to the graduate student team from the Food Science and Technology Program for their project “Jellyfish Bar”:

• Ms. Patcharee Boonkongrat (681331013)
Best Presenter Award
Presented to the undergraduate student team from the Food Science and Technology Program for the project “Plant-based Yogurt”:
• Ms. Kanokon Kongkaew (661310002)
• Ms. Korakarn Kamsunan (661310003)
2nd Best SDG Award
Received by the undergraduate student team from the Agro-Industrial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program and the Smart Agriculture and Food Entrepreneurship Program for their project on Avocado Loss-Reduction Packaging Innovation:
• Ms. Chadaporn Teekha-ayu (681310420)
• Ms. Pimchanok Teekha-ayu (680810539)
All three teams were supervised by Assistant Professor Dr. Wisuwat Wannamakok, Head of the Marine Technology & Products Program and faculty member of the Agro-Industrial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program.
This outstanding achievement demonstrates the capability of our students in developing innovative food and packaging solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as their strong business and presentation skills recognized at the international level.
The Faculty of Agro-Industry expresses its heartfelt congratulations and pride in the accomplishments of all participating students, and remains committed to supporting the development of innovation and entrepreneurship skills as our students continue to advance as future leaders both nationally and globally.
