MIdS CMU Participates in Chiang Mai University’s 61st Anniversary Celebration and Receives Honorary Plaques

Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
On Saturday, 24 January 2026, led by Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, together with MIdS CMU administrators, participated in the merit-making ceremony marking the 61st Anniversary of Chiang Mai University for the year 2026.

The delegation also attended the honorary plaque presentation ceremony recognizing Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of MIdS CMU, who was graciously appointed to the rank of Professor by Royal Command for the year 2025. The ceremony was held at Sala Tham, Chiang Mai University.

On this occasion, MIdS CMU also extended congratulations and presented flower bouquets to award recipients, including:

Outstanding Executive Awards 2025, conferred by the President’s Fund, Chiang Mai University

- Associate Professor Dr. Winita Bun-yo-dom, Vice President, Chiang Mai University
- Professor Emeritus Dr. Sanchai Jatusripitak, Director, Multidisciplinary Research Institute

The event reflected Chiang Mai University’s pride in honoring distinguished administrators and scholars whose achievements have made significant contributions to the university and society.
