CMU Maxillofacial Surgeons Win Best Presentation at National Conference

‘The Faculty of Dentist’s staff received two awards at the Thai Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery’s Annual Conference held from May 7 to 9, 2025 at Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa.
Kongphop Phithaksinsuk, D.D.S., an oral surgery and maxillofacial resident at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, and a faculty member at the Department of Oral Surgery and Maxillofacial, Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University, won the best presentation award for his project titled,
‘What should you do if you find that almost the entire mouth of a patient is likely to have cancer?:
a case report’.
Wachirayut Thongphun, D.D.S., an oral surgery and maxillofacial resident at the Faculty of Dentistry, Chiang Mai University, received the second runner-up award for his project titled,
‘Oral histoplasmosis lesions due to transmission in three patients’, supervised by Assistant Professor
Warit Powcharoen, D.D.S.
