Faculty of Pharmacy
On June 1, 2026, Prof. of Practice Dr. Supat Jiranusornkul, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University, alongside a delegation including Asst. Prof. Dr. Poukwan Arunmanakul (Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Care) and Asst. Prof. Mantiwee Nimworapan (Head of the Pharmaceutical Care Training Center and US-Thai Consortium Coordinator), attended the Pre-Conference of the US-Thai / US-ASEAN Pharmacy Consortia Meeting at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC).
This visit serves as a prelude to the 2026 US-Thai / US-ASEAN Pharmacy Consortia Meeting, taking place from June 3–5, 2026, at the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
The CMU Pharmacy delegation was warmly welcomed by Professor Glen T. Schumock (Dean) and Professor Emeritus Dr. Alan Lau (Director of International Clinical Pharmacy Education ) at the Retzky College of Pharmacy, who provided a comprehensive overview of the college's leading departments and academic programs.
This event marks a crucial milestone for pharmacy faculties across ASEAN and the United States to engage in strategic dialogues within the US–ASEAN Pharmacy Consortium, paving the way for expanded networks and deeper collaborations among international partner institutions.
