CMU’s Faculty of Science Student awarded Research Prize at the International Conference on Biodiversity

Ms. Sornsawan Liamthong, Biology Master Degree Student, Faculty of Science, was awarded the “Best Poster Presentation Award” at the “International Conference on Biodiversity 2019: Biodiversity and Health” held on May 22 – 24, 2019 in Bangkok.

Ms. Liamthong was awarded for her research on “Effect of Water Temperature on Growth, Survival and Health Status of East Asian Bullfrog (Hoplobatrachus rugulosus) Larvae” and was advised by Assistant Professor Dr. Suparb Saenphet and Assistant Professor Dr. Monruedee Chaipo was the co-advisor.

This research studied the temperature levels that supported the health of the Bullfrog Larvae and is useful knowledge for farmers who farm bullfrogs in order to prevent damage due to sudden environmental temperature changes.
