Ms. Jiarada Thosaengrangrong, a first-year Environmental Science major at the CMU Faculty of Science, is one of 20 students to participate in the Thailand Local Young Environmental Advocate Fellowship (T-LEAF) 2024.
The one-year fellowship programme featuring 20 Thai youngsters from different regions aims to encourage youth-driven missions on climate change and biodiversity on the local, regional and global scales, following the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
T-LEAF is organized by the Global Youth Biodiversity Network of Thailand (GYBN-Thailand) which is supported by the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity, Hanns Seidel Foundation Indonesia, Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, and the Department of Climate Change and Environment.
