NurseCMU Hosts Academic Activities with Visiting Professor from New York University, USA

Professor Dr. Allison P. Squires from Rory Meyers College of Nursing, New York University, USA, visited the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, under the Visiting Professor initiative as part of the project "Enhancing Learning and Elevating Research to the International Level through Visiting Professor Collaboration" and the "Monthly Global Insight in Nursing Research program", held from 16-20 March 2026.

The visit aimed to provide faculty members, staff, and graduate students with opportunities to exchange knowledge and research experiences with international scholars, promote research development and international co-publications, and strengthen as well as sustain international research collaboration networks.
During this occasion, Professor Dr. Allison P. Squires conducted a range of academic activities, including research knowledge exchange sessions and special lectures on the following topics:

• Issues and Trends in Nursing Administration Research
• Best Practices for Survey Instrument
• Cross-Language Qualitative Research Methods
• Global Health 2.0
• Writing Research Paper for International Audience
.
In addition, she provided research consultations to faculty members and graduate students of the Faculty of Nursing.
