Assistant Professor Dr. Akkasit Jongjareonrak Wins Second Runner-Up Prize in Commercial Innovation Category at RSP North Innovation Awards 2026

The Faculty of Agro-Industry, Chiang Mai University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr. Akkasit Jongjareonrak on receiving the Second Runner-Up Award in the Commercial Innovation Category at the RSP North Innovation Awards 2026, a prestigious competition organized under the Regional Science Park, Northern Region (RSP North).
The RSP North Innovation Awards serves as a platform to identify and showcase outstanding innovation-driven businesses and technologies from across Northern Thailand. The competition highlights successful commercialization of research and innovation while fostering stronger collaboration among researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry partners within the Regional Science Park network.
Dr. Jongjareonrak’s achievement marks an important milestone, as winners from the regional competition will advance to the national-level competition in August 2026. This national stage will provide an opportunity to demonstrate the potential of Northern Thailand’s innovations, promote the successful commercialization of research outcomes, and enhance the competitiveness of innovation-based enterprises in both domestic and international markets.
The Faculty of Agro-Industry takes great pride in this accomplishment and wishes Dr. Jongjareonrak continued success in the upcoming national competition and future endeavors in advancing innovation and technology for sustainable economic growth.
