On 30 March 2026, the Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, led by course coordinators and faculty members, conducted a study visit at the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University. The visit focused on exploring teaching and learning management, educational tools and equipment, innovative pedagogical approaches, research, and technologies applied in the healthcare field.

On this occasion, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Benjamas Suksatit, Associate Dean of ICDI, who also engaged in knowledge exchange discussions with the visiting faculty.

The primary objective of the visit was to examine approaches to designing Active Learning environments, the application of Game-Based Learning, and systematic instructional innovations—particularly for the course “Primary Medical Care” for nursing students.

Expected outcomes of this study visit include the development of teaching and learning plans for the 2026 academic year, with an emphasis on Active Learning in theoretical courses, as well as the design of at least two active learning activities, such as Game-Based Learning or other innovative learning media. These approaches are intended to be applied to the teaching of primary care practices for nursing students in community-based healthcare settings.

This study visit represents another significant step in enhancing faculty capacity in learning design and the integration of educational technologies. Ultimately, it contributes to the development of high-quality nursing graduates with strong professional competencies, capable of effectively responding to the evolving demands of healthcare systems in the digital era.
