Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
On March 13, 2026, Prof. Dr. Korakot Nganvongpanit, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, together with the faculty’s administrators, lecturers, and staff, warmly welcomed Prof. Masao Miyashita from Nippon Medical School, Japan. The visit was held to discuss potential avenues for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions, with a focus on exchanging knowledge and experiences in the fields of medicine and veterinary medicine to further advance research and education at the international level.

On this occasion, Prof. Masao Miyashita also visited the Northern Regional Veterinary Healthcare and Learning Center (NOVEL CMU), the faculty’s newly established animal hospital, which serves as a modern center for veterinary learning and clinical services. In addition, he also visited the Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology Museum at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University.
