The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, participated in the annual “Train Welcoming Ceremony” (Rap Nong Rod Fai) 2025, organized by Chiang Mai University. This year marks the first time that ICDI students have taken part in this cherished and long-standing university tradition.

The 2025 Train Welcoming Ceremony was held aboard Special Train No. 951, which departed from Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok on June 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM, and arrived at Chiang Mai Railway Station on June 9, 2025, at 6:25 AM. Throughout the journey, the students were warmly greeted by alumni at various stations, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for all newcomers.

Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, ICDI students, together with faculty representatives, the Student Union President, and members of the Student Union, joined the official welcoming ceremony held at the Chiang Mai University Sala Dham to express their readiness to become part of the university community.

The International College of Digital Innovation extends its sincere appreciation to all students who contributed to preserving this meaningful tradition. We hope that the students gained valuable experiences and unforgettable memories as they begin their new chapter at Chiang Mai University.
