MIdS CMU Welcomes Delegation from KMUTNB Faculty of Engineering for Knowledge Exchange on ISO 9001 and ISO 21001 Standards

On Friday, 5 June 2026, Professor Dr. Apichat Sophadang, Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS), Chiang Mai University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Salinee Santiteerakul, Associate Dean, and MIdS personnel, warmly welcomed a study visit delegation from the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB).

The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Krisada Asawarungruangkul, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, KMUTNB, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Taksin Saengsuwan, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs and Alumni Relations; Associate Professor Dr. Natee Thong-oon; Assistant Professor Dr. Wittaya Kudthalang; and Assistant Professor Dr. Sathit Mangkhalachan, faculty members from the Department of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, KMUTNB.

The visit focused on knowledge exchange regarding organizational management practices based on the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 21001 Educational Organizations Management System standards. Participants learned about implementation strategies, quality management system development, preparation processes for certification, and best practices from MIdS CMU. The session also provided opportunities for discussions and experience sharing between the executives and personnel of both institutions. The activity was held at Meeting Room 1-101, MIdS CMU.
