CMU’s Center for Agricultural Resource System Research (CARSR), Faculty of Agriculture, grows and sells quality seasonal vegetables, rice, sweet corn and fruits that are toxic free. Due the increased time and care needed to produce such agricultural products, the volume of products produced each years is limited but quality and nutrition is ensured!

CARSR’s mango (Nam Dok Mai Golden Mango No. 4.) is grown using the GAP system guidelines, which focuses on minimizing the use of chemicals by utilizing biological plant substances. Carbon bags are also used to encase mango fruits to prevent diseases and destruction by insects and birds, and thus the mangoes able to sell for a greater price at the market, typically selling for 5 – 10 baht more per kg.

CARSR’s Nam Dok Mai Golden Mango No.4 products are under the Agricultural Traceability Unit project, where consumers can scan the QR code on each product and check the products safety description as tested by the Central Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture.
