ICDI, CMU Participates in the Chiang Mai University Executive Seminar 2026

Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujira Ouncharoen, Dean of the International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, together with the college’s executive team, participated in the “Chiang Mai University Executive Seminar 2026,” held on 23–24 May 2026 at the University Academic Service Center (UNISERV), Chiang Mai University.

The seminar was officially opened by Professor Emeritus Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, President of the Chiang Mai University Council, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Pongrak Sribanditmongkol, President of Chiang Mai University. The event was attended by members of the University Council, vice presidents, assistant presidents, and more than 500 executives from various faculties and departments across the university.

The seminar aimed to provide university executives at all levels with insights into the strategic direction and policy implementation of Chiang Mai University. It also served as a platform for knowledge exchange, constructive discussions, and collaboration among university units to support the successful implementation of Chiang Mai University’s 14th Education Development Plan in the future.

In addition, the event emphasized sustainable event management. UNISERV served as a supporting unit responsible for venue management, registration, and the evaluation of the event as a Carbon Neutral Event. The seminar generated a total greenhouse gas emission of 12.59 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, while 13 tons were compensated, reflecting Chiang Mai University’s strong commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible event organization.
