In a collaborative effort, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), in conjunction with the Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS) and the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, orchestrated the vibrant Happy Chinese New Year 2024 event.

In a collaborative effort, the International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), in conjunction with the Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School (MIdS) and the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, orchestrated the vibrant Happy Chinese New Year 2024 event. This festive gathering was graced by the presence of Mr. Chen Haiping, the esteemed Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Chiang Mai, who had the honor of presiding over the opening ceremony.
The auspicious event saw Assistant Professor Todsaporn Pichaiya, Vice President of Chiang Mai University, delivering a warm welcome speech. Additionally, Associate Professor Dr. Apichat Sopadang, Dean of the College of Multidisciplinary Studies at Chiang Mai University, shared insightful remarks during the ceremony.
The overarching objective of the Happy Chinese New Year 2024 activity was to foster an international ambiance and facilitate the exchange of knowledge surrounding Chinese culture and traditions among Thai and foreign students at Chiang Mai University. The event, held on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Lan Sak, Sala Dhamma, Chiang Mai University, featured a diverse array of engaging activities, including food booths, demonstrations, and inventive showcases. Attendees also had the opportunity to partake in exciting games, win prizes, and enjoy captivating performances showcasing Chinese arts and culture. The event served as a joyous celebration of the Chinese New Year Festival of 2024, bringing together students and faculty from various departments both within and outside Chiang Mai University.
