Cultural Exploration and Cross-Year Bonding: Enriching Student Experience in the International Accounting Program
22 July 2025
Chiang Mai University Business School
On July 5, 2025, the Bachelor of Accountancy (International Program), Chiang Mai University Business School, organized the activity “Historical Learning and Bonding Activity for Three Cohorts of International Program Students”. The event took place both in classrooms and at off-campus learning sites in Chiang Mai Province. It aimed to promote experiential learning beyond the classroom, foster strong relationships among students from different year levels, and offer international students a close-up experience of Thai culture.
The day began with ice-breaking and team-building activities conducted in the classroom. Students then boarded a tram to visit significant historical sites in Chiang Mai, including Wat Lok Moli, Wat Chedi Luang, and Wat Suan Dok. A highlight of the day was a hands-on cultural workshop where students crafted traditional “Kruay Suay Dok” flower cones, deepening their understanding of local customs and Thai arts and culture. The activity not only enhanced cultural appreciation but also strengthened bonds between senior and junior students within the program.
