Faculty from NurseCMU Serve as Speakers at International Geriatric Nursing Forum in China

Assistant Professor Dr. Nattaya Suwankruhasn, Head of Nursing Science Department, and Assistant Professor Dr. Rangsiya Narin, Public Health Nursing Department, Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, were invited by the School of Nursing, Kunming Medical University, as speakers and participants in the International Academic Forum on Comprehensive Geriatric Care and Nursing Education Development. The conference was held from November 13-15, 2025, at Kunming Medical University, Yunnan Province, People’s Republic of China.

During the conference, Dr. Nattaya delivered a presentation on "Empowering Family Caregivers in Elderly Stroke: A Nurse Educator's Role," while Dr. Rangsiya presented on "Promoting the Competencies of Caregivers (CG) for Providing Elderly Care for the Elderly in the Communities Using Technology and Innovation." They also participated in the Roundtable Discussion on "International Nursing Education Development."

The event provided a platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences in geriatric nursing and advancing international nursing education, highlighting the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University’s active role in strengthening international collaboration and driving innovation in elderly care.
