MIdS CMU Organizes “AI for Back Office” Workshop to Enhance Work Efficiency with Artificial Intelligence
21 November 2025
Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School
Associate Professor Dr. Ekkarat Boonchieng, Associate Dean of Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University, served as the instructor for the “AI for Back Office” workshop aimed at enhancing work efficiency through artificial intelligence for support staff (Back Office) from hospitals across Chiang Mai Province.
Participants learned the basics of Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and others, including practical applications of Generative AI in their work, prompt-writing techniques, and hands-on workshops tailored to their job responsibilities. The workshop was conducted in two cohorts during 20–21 November 2025 at Room 2-202, Building 2, Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary School, Chiang Mai University.
The objective of the workshop was to equip hospital personnel in Chiang Mai Province with an understanding of the fundamentals and potential of artificial intelligence (AI) within the Back Office context, to enable them to select and apply AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude—appropriately for their tasks, and to utilize the acquired knowledge and skills to solve problems and improve efficiency in their work.
