Director of the International Research and Academic Services Center, International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, joins the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Thailand-China diplomatic relations in Chengdu, People's Republic of China

Dr. Ananop Thananchana, Director of the International Research and Academic Services Center, International College of Digital Innovation, Chiang Mai University, represented the College at the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the People’s Republic of China. He also participated in the 9th International Exchange Week held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, People’s Republic of China, from June 10–13, 2024.

During the event, he engaged in key activities including a panel discussion on “Regional Economic Development and Cooperation,” meetings with representatives from Chinese universities to explore potential collaborations, and academic and cultural exchange sessions with scholars and delegates from various countries. These activities aimed to strengthen international academic networks and commemorate the longstanding and close relationship between Thailand and China over the past five decades.

The event was hosted by Chengdu University with the goal of promoting international educational cooperation and fostering sustainable learning partnerships among higher education institutions worldwide.
