DERMESTICUS Nano-cosmeceutical by CMU Researchers Claims Gold and NRTC HONORABLE MENTION AWARD at 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva

‘DERMESTICUS’ Nano-cosmeceutical: The Future of Beauty from Edible Sources, a research project by Chiang Mai University (CMU), has been awarded a Gold Medal and the NRCT Honorable Mention Award at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, held from March 11–15, 2026, in Geneva, Switzerland.
The project is a collaborative effort between CMU and the Pharmaceutical Factory under the Royal Initiative of Chulabhorn Royal Academy. The research team includes Associate Professor Dr. Wantida Chaiyana, Dr. Suvimol Somwongin, and Mr. Jirasit Inthon from the CMU Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Watchara Kanjanakawinkul and Dr. Saranya Jantrapirom from the Pharmaceutical Factory under the Royal Initiative of Chulabhorn Royal Academy; Dr. Wasin Wongwilai and Mr. Phongsathon Thamthanom from the CMU Multidisciplinary Research Institute (MDRI); Assistant Professor Dr. Chompunut Lumsangkul from the CMU Faculty of Agriculture; and Professor Dr. Thomas Rades, Professor Dr. Anette M?llertz, and Professor Dr. Andrea Heinz from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
The 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva featured more than 1,050 innovations from 35 countries, spanning the education, industrial, and private sectors.
